CORSA RC LLC. RULES / RACE CLASSES
Code of Conduct
⦁ CORSA RC LLC. strives to be a family friendly atmosphere for all ages. Please be respectful. The following will not be tolerated:⦁ Racers must pay for track time or race prior to securing a pit areas spot⦁ Foul, crude, or profane language⦁ Disrespectful or un-sportsman-like conduct⦁ The use of drugs or alcohol. Racers and visitors must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at any time on the premises.⦁ Smoking anywhere in the building. This includes the back room. E-cigarettes and vaporizers are also banned anywhere in the building.⦁ Any other behavior that the race director or the CORSA RC LLC. Board of Directors deem inappropriate⦁ Racers must bring a towel or pit mat to protect the tables.⦁ Racers must pick up their own trash at the end of the day and Sanitize work are with CORSA RC LLC. provided sanitize wipes.⦁ Please keep the restrooms neat and clean. We’re not your mother and nobody is getting paid to clean them.⦁ The sand buckets are for Li-Po battery fires only. They are not to be used for general trash or discarding your safe, used batteries.⦁ LiPo batteries must be charged in flame retardant charging sacks designed for LiPo batteries.⦁ CORSA RC LLC. is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.⦁ Unless given specific permission by the race director, you must marshal the race immediately following yours.⦁ Severe or repeat offenders of the code of conduct and rules may be banned permanently by a majority vote of the CORSA RC LLC. Board of Directors. Any illegal activity will result in an immediate and permanent ban.
Race Rules for All Classes⦁ All LiPo batteries must have a hard case.⦁ Batteries must NOT be charged beyond their design voltage (4.20V per cell for standard LiPo’s).⦁ No receiver packs allowed for any classes except for modified classes.⦁ No “super caps”. Capacitors cannot exceed 10,000 micro farads.⦁ All vehicles must meet their class’s minimum ride height requirements. No part of the vehicle can drag on the carpet. 3mm minimum for 1/12 scale pan cars and 5mm minimum for most other classes. See class rules for specific requirements.⦁ All vehicles must be free of dirt, mud, oil, etc. ON ROAD TIRES ONLY . Our carpet racing surface is a significant investment.⦁ Racers must provide their own transponders. They can Be purchased from us.⦁ If we do not have at least three vehicles in a class, we may (at race director’s discretion) combine classes. ALL VEHICLES ON TRACK MUST HAVE CHASSIS PROTECTOR AND BE INSPECTED PRIOR TO ENTERING THE TRACK.

Open Class Touring Car (Any 4wd touring car) (in order to participate in this class you must have been in the top 3 winners of previous race)⦁ Motor: Any⦁ Rotor: N/A⦁ Gearing: Open⦁ ESC: Any (* Reverse must be locked out on esc)⦁ Battery: Any NiMh or Lipo⦁ Max Battery Voltage: 8.40v⦁ Tires/Rims: Any⦁ Body: 1/10th scale Touring Car Body Must have Realistic sponsor stickers . ⦁ Minimum Body Weight: N/A⦁ Minimum Total Weight: N/A⦁ Minimum Ground Clearance: 5mm⦁ Maximum Width: N/a⦁ Minimum Body Height/Wing: Rear wing is optional. Tamiya TT-01 Euro Truck Racing Class
This class is run with similar rules to the Tamiya Championship Series. The spirit of this class is to be a fun, truly “build it and run”, low-cost, box stock class.
⦁ Tamiya TT-01 based Euro Semi Truck kits only. The kit must be built EXACTLY as shown in the manual.⦁ Must use kit supplied motor and ESC. The battery connector may be replaced with a Dean’s style connector.⦁ * Reverse must be locked out on esc.⦁ Only upgrade allowed is ball bearings.⦁ No modifications to the chassis or any other kit parts are allowed.⦁ All kit screws must be used. Screws may not be omitted to change the handling of the truck.⦁ You must run all the kit parts including (but not limited to) the servo saver, springs, steering links, etc. Again, this is a box stock, fun, low cost class. Bearings are the ONLY upgrade allowed!⦁ Racers may use grease in the differentials. However, grease must not leak out of vehicle. Differentials must work and cannot be “locked” mechanically or with putty or similar materials.⦁ Must use kit supplied pinion and spur gears.⦁ Must use kit supplied tires and wheels. Foam or other tire inserts are not allowed.⦁ Tires may be glued on the sidewalls ONLY.⦁ The full body must be used. Body may not be modified to lower center-of-gravity or reduce weight. May use any semi body. ⦁ Adding FOAM material to the kit foam bumper is allowed.⦁ NiMh 6-cell 7.2 or 2S LiPo hard-case battery. Max capacity of 6,000mAh. (Reedy Wolfpack recommended) Chassis may not be modified to fit the battery. Kit supplied battery strap must be used.⦁ Max voltage of 8.40V⦁ Any SXT traction compound may be used. SXT is the only brand of compound allowed.⦁ Any servo and receiver may be used.
